Our Story
Our founder and owner, Blake Powell, has a wealth of experience in handling unique and complex tax situations. Working with income ranges from hundred-million-dollar losses to eight-hundred-million-dollar gains, Blake has helped taxpayers and businesses navigate nearly everything under the sun.

After receiving his Master's in Tax Consulting from Wake Forest, Blake began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Family Office/Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals practice, working tirelessly to solve problems while providing enough foresight to prevent additional surprises.
Nearly a half-decade later, Blake shifted his focus and left PwC to work with smaller firms in the Metro-Atlanta area, helping entrepreneurs & small businesses achieve their goals. Believing he still could provide more to his clients, Blake started Red Clay CPAs with a commitment to creating a modern accounting firm that is relentlessly client-focused without sacrificing efficiency.
